The lie of mental health struggles

The life of mental health struggles is that you’re alone and that you’ll always be alone and you can’t get through this.

You are not alone. There are so many people in really similar place right now. And there is a way of addressing mental health issues that is doable and you can feel okay about.

We just have to keep talking about it until everybody feels like they can ask for help.

No matter what it is that you think you need to hide due to shame or guilt or wanting to put on a good face… the minute we just say it, you so often hear “oh yeah, me too.” And then you get that medicine of comfort … of “oh, I’m not alone.” That really starts to make a difference.

Group therapy is one great option to find that comfort + learn skills to aid in your recovery.
